Sustainability is a major challenge for the european textile and clothing industry. The reuse, recycling and upcycling have a really big game to play in this field.

CETI’s legitimacy is already illustrated by ambitious goals :
•    Developping new products based on bio-polymers
•    Enhancing alternatives ressources
•    Creating new fibers from recycled raw materials in football sporting goods, a research project « Sport Infinity »realized in the context of the H2020 European Commission.

CETI remains abreast of societal chalenge of environmental footprints by giving access to a unique place to promote and emphasize eco-design projects which are both ecologically supportable and economically durable for all user or future textile user markets. To go further in its strategy and as a disruptive textile innovation and applied research center, CETI is now building an innovative technological platform for inventing and developping post-consumers short fibers recycled (cotton & polyester/cotton).
